I’m thrilled to announce that my first book of poems, Persistence: Poems of Warren, Maryland, has been published by David Robert Books.
Persistence tells the story of Warren, a mill town that was destroyed and flooded in 1922 to create Loch Raven Reservoir, the primary municipal water supply for metropolitan Baltimore. It was also my grandmother’s childhood home.
You can order through Amazon and Barnes and Noble, or purchase from me directly. We’ll be celebrating the book launch at Michael’s Cafe in Timonium from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, and I’ll also be participating in a program about Warren sponsored by the Historical Society of Baltimore County from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 25.
